Tempus is a Czech band that weaves world music with rock elements, drawing inspiration from medieval melodies.

Seven seasoned musicians bring their energetic performances to stages across the Czech Republic and beyond. At the heart of it all is the enchanting singer Linda Ravena, whose graceful voice is joined by a colorful array of both traditional and unusual instruments that will carry you on an adventurous journey of imagination. Discover the magic of the powerful hurdy-gurdy, drift away with the dreamy tones of the violin, and move to the lively melodies of flutes and thundering drums.

The Tempus band has performed twice at our Skotský den Valevilu (Scottish Day of Valevil) at Veveří Castle. Tempus performing live is a beautiful fusion of medieval melodies and rock. They are excellent musicians and it is obvious they have been playing together for quite some time. Official music videos

Since the release of their latest studio album Bludička, Tempus has produced five successful professional music videos, each with its own unique style that draws the audience into an alternative fantasy world. One of the videos was even created in collaboration with world-renowned Japanese singer Mika Kobayashi, for whom Tempus composed the song Pouto upon her request. The song became part of her album, where Mika-san recorded it in Czech. The band’s video production also includes a professional live recording from the international festival Táborska setkání.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nowadays there are 7 performing members.

Usually it takes 60 to 80 minutes. It can be extended to 90 minutes upon previous agreement.

The price is mostly determined by the distance we have to travel from Brno. Please contact our manager with an individual offer.

We only perform indoors in winter due to our instruments’ sensitivity to cold. We can offer you an outdoor concert anytime from May to October.

We come from Czech Republic with our base being in Brno.

We are not VAT payers – we operate as “zapsaný spolek”: Hudební skupina Tempus, z. s., IČO: 02046784.
