Mission of our organization
Hudební skupina Tempus, z. s. is a registered non-profit association whose main activities are music creation and performance, as well as organizing cultural events. Music is at the heart of what we do, and through it we aim to bring audiences our own original work. Since 2007, Tempus has been creating fantasy world music – melodic original songs with Czech lyrics, built around a diverse range of traditional and less common musical instruments. Our music combines contemporary musical elements with inspiration from times long past, creating a distinctive atmosphere that leaves room for the listener’s imagination.
Since 2021, we have also organized our own festival, Medieval Night, which has gradually grown from a club event into a larger-scale festival project. Its aim is to introduce audiences to interesting artists from the worlds of world music, folk, rock and metal from both the Czech Republic and abroad.
