Fantasy world music with echoes of distant times – this is the original music of Tempus, a band from Brno, Czech Republic.
Seven seasoned musicians, led by enchanting singer Linda Ravena, create music that combines her distinctive voice with a diverse range of traditional and less common musical instruments. Step into a world of imagination and adventure. Discover the bold sound of the hurdy-gurdy, immerse yourself in the dreamy tones of the violin, and let yourself be carried away by the melodies of flutes and the powerful beat of drums.

Tempus tours not only in Czech Republic but also abroad. You can catch us playing big town festivals and music festivals of various genres (Medieval, Celtic, Folk and even Metal festivals). Entry to most of these events is free for the public!

Mission of our organization
Hudební skupina Tempus, z. s. is a non-profit organization that focuses on interpretive activities, organizing cultural events, and lectures in the field of culture. Creating and spreading music inspired by the Middle Ages has been our passion and mission for over a decade. We have been successful in introducing the public to original historical melodies that are incorporated into contemporary music. We use both modern and historical musical instruments to interpret this music, which the public can experience not only at our concerts but also at the lectures we organize. In this regard, we also collaborate with other non-profit organizations. Since 2021, we have been organizing the Medieval Night, a festival that takes place on the Brno club scene. Through this event, visitors can listen to selected artists and groups of medieval rock, folk, and metal, not only from the Czech Republic but also from abroad. Medieval Rock Night has always been very successful and well-received, which makes us very happy and motivated.
